A Race Worth Winning’s 4th Annual Walk/Run

Saturday, July 18th at Elko Speedway
This is the 3rd year that I, Michelle, will be participating in this fund-raising event. My Mom and my niece will also be doing the walk with me! If you would like to make a donation, you can do it online at http://web.alsa.org/goto/Michelle58.
As I mentioned in a previous post, Dan Ryan, Sr. a former racer at Elko Speedway died of ALS this past January. He retired from racing a few years ago but still spent every weekend at the racetrack helping his sons. 2008 he was inducted into Elko Speedway’s hall of fame and he was thankful for every weekend that he was able to be at the track. Elko Speedway along with many racers, crews and fans have been making an effort to raise money and awareness to this fatal disease.
The ALS Association is the only non-profit organization fighting Lou Gehrig’s Disease on every front. By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through certified clinical care centers, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.I am asking you to help by supporting my fund-raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many!
Any amount, great or small, helps in the fight. We greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on our progress.
Thank you!
Michelle
